15th Sep’ 2022 was celebrated as ‘Hindi Diwas’ in Auxilium Convent High School. Selected students stepped forward to initiate the organizing of the event. Ms Arya Ambedkar student of STD X gave her extended appreciation for the significance of the day celebrated. Ms Purva Ghamanskar highlighted and addressed the whole school about the importance of Hindi Diwas and the language Hindi in her recitation of a poem, dedicated to the event. Eminent Hindi poet Harishrai Bachan’s poem ‘Kosish Karnewalon Ki Har Nahi Hoti’ was presented by Ms Sneha Sah.
Tr. Sangeeta Pawar contributed to the celebration by reciting her poem ‘Agnipath’ in her melodious voice. Tr. Sheetal Kodhambhar gave the briefing about the narrated poem by Tr. Sangeeta. At the end of the celebration Tr. Mamta Gawde announced the details of various competitions in lieu of the event held:
- Std 5th to 7th – Handwriting Competition
- Std 8th to 9th – Speech Competition
- Std 10th – Poem Writing Competition
The event concluded with the salutation given to the significance of the national language, in the form of celebration and giving insight into the importance of the Hindi Diwas.
