Laura Vicuna discovered God, His love, and allowed herself to be surrounded by it. God’s love stimulated her to love in return. Thus, Laura made herself available to all, helping them in any way she could. She was a leader and everyone’s friend. Laura accepted God’s love. Laura was fascinated by the ideal of the sisters and secretly hoped to consecrate herself to God in the service of her brothers and sisters.
The nursing students from Laura Vicuna Niwas Ahmednagar honored and thanked God for the gift of Blessed Laura Vicuna to the youth and specially to the Salesian Family through a short cultural programme on 22nd January2023. The celebration began with a short prayer moment and then they enacted the life of Bl. Laura Vicuna. Sr. Rita Lobo the animator of the community delivered the message saying, Laura accepted the difficulties and suffered everything only for the conversation of her mother. Like her we too must learn to accept suffering without making much noise.
Let us learn to accept little sufferings in our life in order to help the young to live a pure and good life.
