The Auxilium Winter Sports Competition 2023 for the primary section was held on the school ground of the Auxilium Convent School on 24th of February, 2023. The event was organized by the school’s primary section, and students from various classes participated in the competition. The event was a grand success, and it left the participants, teachers, and parents feeling elated and exhilarated.
- Escorting- It began with the smart little escorts escorting the chief guests of the event Reverend Father James the principal of Don Bosco school Ahmednagar, Respected Manager-Sister Rita, Principal -Sister Jacintha, Supervisor -Sister Nilima, Head teacher of the primary section -Sister Reshma, and all the other sisters.
- Felicitation- Tr. Saguna presented our chief guest Rev. Father James with a token of our appreciation. All the guests were felicitated similarly.
- Lighting of the torch- The event began with the lighting of the Olympic flame, by the guests which marked the beginning of the competition.
- March Past- The event proceeded with a march past by the participating teams. Each team marched past the field with pride, decked in colourful t-shirts and track pants, leaving the audience spellbound.
- Chief Guest Speaks- The chief guest of the day, Reverent Father James, graced the stage and addressed the gathering. He spoke about the values of sportsmanship, and how it can help inculcate character in students.
- Ribbon Cutting and Balloons- The chief guest reverent father James, and principal Sister Jacintha and all the other sisters came to the centre of the ground for the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official start of the event.
The sports meet was declared open and all the participants were wished a great good fortune for the competitions ahead.
- Individual games- were held for the classes 1st to 3rd & then for classes 4th and 5th
- Group games- including relay race and tug of war were conducted for all the classes.
The prize distribution for all the games went on side by side.
The students were applauded for their hard work and dedication.
In conclusion, the Auxilium Convent’s Primary section’s Winter Sports Competition 2023 was a grand success. It brought the students, a spirit of sportsmanship, and left everyone feeling elated and exhilarated.
