AMAR # 2082 Community Gratitude Day at Auxilium Carona

On February 13, 2024, the community of Auxilium Carona came together to celebrate Gratitude Day, a special occasion dedicated to acknowledging and expressing thanks for the contributions of each community member. The theme for the gratitude day was “Community Life: A Life of God’s Grace,” creating a meaningful and reflective atmosphere.

The community had one week’s preparation for the same; on February 12, the community began the celebration with a vigil service by being thankful and acknowledging each member. The next day, February 13th, we began by thanking God with a Morning Prayer and a festive breakfast. At noon, the Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Caitan D’Souza, the Chaplin of Carona Chapel, followed by the fellowship of the meal. A communal gathering allowed everyone to share in the joy of the day. This festive occasion was marked by laughter and a profound sense of togetherness, further solidifying the spirit of gratitude that permeated Auxilium Carona on Gratitude Day.

The Boarders of Auxilium Carona expressed their gratitude towards sisters by putting up small programs. The children performed welcome and thank-you songs, dances, and cards which they did to show their love and gratitude towards sisters.

The celebration of Gratitude Day served not only as a time for reflection but also as a reminder of the importance of acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of every community member. It reinforced the idea that a community thrives when each member’s contributions are recognized and valued, creating a shared dream that inspires and uplifts the entire collective.
