In a world where diversity is increasingly celebrated and valued, schools too play a crucial role in fostering understanding and respect among students of different backgrounds. Keeping this in mind we at Auxilium Nandgad celebrated Multifaith Week from the 20th to the 24th of February 2024. It was a wonderful celebration because everyone got to know the richness and beauty of different religions and the people’s belief systems.
During the week five religions were highlighted: Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Jainism, and Sikhism. The teachers and students presented the various forms of worship, their Holy Scriptures, the various festivals they celebrate, their food, and their culture. It was a feast to the eyes. A variety of dress codes, beautiful music, and dance gave a glimpse of each religion, and all the students appreciated and made an effort to understand the richness of each religion. It was indeed a meaningful week of celebration.
