The sisters and boarders of Mornese Vihar Sulcorna were very happy to share the joy of having the ANNUAL DAY today on 11th February 2018. The parents of the boarders were present for this great event. We began this day with a meaningful Eucharist at 10:30am.Fr. Bernardino Da Almeida celebrated the Eucharist and meaningfully brought out the responsibilities of parents towards their children and inspired children to trust and love their parents till the end in spite of the temptations of the world i.e. media and friendships. During the Eucharist as the Sisters distributed Communion to the faithful, Fr. Bernardino prayed over the people of other faiths.
We are very happy that our three young girls received Christ for the first time in the Church of Our Lady of Rosary, Rivona.
After the Eucharist we had a short break and then followed a good, friendly meet with the parents. After the meet, there was a programme by the boarders. It consisted of a welcome song, a congratulation song for our three girls who received Jesus for the first time. The day was filled with a well prepared skit, jokes, dances and a thank you song that expressed their love for their parents. There were also some spot prizes that kept the parents alive and active. 
The children were encouraged by the sisters for their good performance in the boarding by giving away the prizes. We ended this great event with a delicious lunch. The parents left our house with grateful hearts to God and to the sisters who took care of their young girls.
