AMAR # 419 Celebrating Workers’ Day & Community Day at Aux-Caranzalem

On19th March, the feast of St. Joseph, the patron of our Institute and the guardian of our family, Auxilium Caranzalem celebrated Workers’ Day in the school. We began with the school assembly during which we had a meaningful prayer moment, thanking God and St. Joseph the patron of workers and imploring his blessings of good health, peace and love on all our support staff and helpers who render their selfless service to this institution. The students of both the Secondary and the Primary sections staged an entertainment programme. As a token of love and gratitude all the workers were given a rose and a gift. After the programme the workers were called in the refectory and snacks were served. In the afternoon they were treated to a sumptuous meal.

This day was also celebrated as our Community Gratitude Day. After a meaningful Vigil Service and Morning Prayer, we celebrated the Eucharist together, inviting all those present to pray for our community. We prayed our Evening Prayer at Martin’s Beach followed by supper. We thank God for the beautiful day we enjoyed.
