AMAR # 500 INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF A.Y.G AT AUX-WADALA

          Auxilium Youth Movement is a worldwide movement where in we have different grow herein together for a reason. It is an all India movement of youngsters in touch with Auxilium. They in turn will contribute towards change and growth. Auxilium Youth Movement is like a broad Umbrella that shelters all the various groups of our mission and one such group is the AYG known as the Auxilium Youth Group.

On 30th July, the students of Std. VII and VIII accompanied by the teachers and Sisters had gathered in the basement to congratulate and pray for our 60 budding youngsters who committed themselves to serve God and humanity by becoming a member of the AYG. They were invited to learn, to seek God in the everyday events of their life, to strengthen their self identity, to involve themselves in social transformation and together to build up a strong team spirit.

The investiture ceremony began with the entrance procession on the AYM theme song. The candidates solemnly walked with lit candles, symbolizing their readiness to be of service to our country and the world.

Sr. Meenakshi  D’Silva, the Manager of the school invested, 60 AYG candidates with colourful scarves. Later the AYG members took an oath promising to live up to the duties assigned to them.

She further gave an inspiring message to the AYG members as well as the audience to be ever ready to work for the good of the society and the school.

Sr. Kalyani the animator of the AYG prepared the members well with the help of others specially the past AYG members very meaningfully and gracefully. May our founders DON BOSCO AND MOTHER MAZZZRELLO lead all our youngsters to the path of holiness and service.

May these our youngsters learn to educate to a Culture of free giving, sharing of resources and creativity, striving for justice and peace by offering their personal contribution to the transformation of society. May they discover the many faces of need, to be able to take the focus away from self and show genuine interest in others.
