I greet and respect my teachers as I write this article. Because of my teachers, I am a teacher today. I am proud to be a teacher where I can reach out to many like Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Mother Teresa, and many others.
Yes, today was indeed a great day for us at AUXILIUM WADALA as our 58 teachers marched along with the march -fast group towards the Sr Berta’s hall along with Sr. Ivy from the Shillong Province who is on her holidays, Sr. Meena the manager and Sr. Gloria the principal.
The program began with the prayer dance and the prayer service. Our students from Pre-primary, primary and secondary section rocked the stage with their scintillating performances and made their teachers happy through their various programs. The programs were skits in Marathi, Hindi and English, Jordan songs, Zumba dances, filmy dances masala from 1950 to 2018.
Sr. Ivy gave the message to all those gathered. She spoke of her days here in Wadala as a teacher. Snacks were distributed to the students. The leaders conducted interesting games to the teacher’s wherein they all enjoyed to the full. Later the lunch was served to the teachers.
We thank our dear teachers for their dedicated service to our Institute. May the ALMA MATER bless all our teachers and their families with blessings. The NIOS section too greeted their teachers with songs and dance thus expressing their gratitude for the role the teachers play in their lives.
Let us remember the words of Malala Yusafzai “ONE BOOK, ONE PEN, ONE CHILD, ONE TEACHER CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.”
