On 18th November evening at 6:30 pm in the Maria Kripa Madanthyar with our hostel girls we had interfaith prayer moment in honour of Provincial Gratitude Day, with passages from different religious scriptures. The theme for the Gratitude day is Serve the Lord in holiness”, it was conducted by Sr. Mary Lobo.
We invoked the Holy Spirit to be with us during the prayer moment, and we started the prayer. The students from different faiths: Muslim, Hindu, and Catholic read the Holy Scriptures and they shared the Word of God. In the end, we prayed together the common prayer for all the religion from the book of “SANGAM” then we prayed for everyone in the silence of our hearts and thanked God for this moment given us to spend with Him. And at 7.40 p.m. we ended our prayer by singing a common hymn.
