AMAR # 681 Aux- Carona celebrates Republic Day

26th of January is a significant day for every Indian. On 26th January 1950, the Constitution of India came into force and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year.

The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at the Auxilium School Carona on 26th January 2019. The students assembled on the school ground at 8.00 am.

The day began with a beautiful and meaningful prayer service praying for our country and its leaders. The chief guest Mrs. Merciana, a booth level officer unfurled the national flag. The students saluted the national flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honor and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “India.

There was a speech in English followed by a patriotic song and a beautiful dance by the students

The chief guest spoke about our diverse nation and the relevance of the constitution and the Preamble. Today we are proud of our nation’s achievements and look ahead to a bright future for our country India which has flourished despite adversities to rise victorious.
