On 19 February 2019, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was kept up in school in memory of the valiant and brave Shivaji who fought tirelessly for Swaraj. Sir Govind Kandekar did the honours of garlanding the statue of the great Leader which was followed by a short cultural programme highlighting the countless efforts and sacrifices made by the Marathas in their fight again their oppressors. The children took great pride in dressing up in their traditional outfits and recalling the past history with much love and gratitude.
