This year we celebrated the Pope’s Day on 9th July 2019 along with the Auxilium Community and the Boarders. The programme began at 8.30 p.m. with a prayer dance by invoking God’s blessings. This was followed by a skit, “the call of First disciples” highlighting the call of St. Peter. The candidates also put up a cultural dance which was much appreciated by the boarders. A short clipping on the life of Pope Francis was also shown. Then the boarders were divided into 4 groups and a quiz on the Popes was conducted. The children answered all the questions, all the groups got equal points. Quoting the Holy Father Pope Francis, Sr. Cecilia Crasta gave the ‘Goodnight’ on how to make the sign of the Cross meaningfully. In the end, some small token of gifts were presented to the boarders. The entire programme was planned by Sr. Vencila Dimekar assisted by the Postulants.
