On the evening of 5th August 2019, the community of Auxilium Welfare Centre, Pune celebrated the twin celebration of the feast of Mother Mary Mazzarello and the Foundation Day of our Institute. The centre invited the Salesian Fathers and Brothers, Sisters of Eusebia Welfare Centre, Mundhwa and Sisters of Christ Jesus, teachers and workers for the celebration.
The main celebrant of the Eucharistic Celebration was Rev.Fr. Richard D’Silva SDB from Don Bosco, Koregaon Park. He highlighted the virtues of St. Mary Mazzarello especially her humility and simplicity. The liturgy was well animated. During the celebration, we prayed for all our Sisters who celebrate the anniversary of their profession. We had Sr. Thelma Barrett and Sr. Cristine Ferreira amongst us. After Mass the animator of the community, Sr. Gracy Thomas took the opportunity to thank the assembly for having come in big numbers. This was followed by a fellowship meal. The Salesian Brothers sang melodious song wishing the Sisters for the feast.
