On the 8th March 2020, 125 women gathered at Aashish Bhavan, Kune to celebrate Women’s Day. The celebration began at 8.30 am and concluded at 5.00 pm. It was filled with games and fun. It was a joy to see the women folk enjoy the day.
The long-awaited day arrived when Sr. Phyllis Neves arrived at Auxilium Convent, Pali Hill on 5th March 2020 at 9.00 am. A solemn welcome was accorded to her in a typically cultural manner. The students escorted her with dances and flowers. Canonical Visitation at Pushpanjali Dakor The long-awaited day dawn on 29th February as the Pushpanjali Family welcomed our General Visiting Councillor, Rev. Sr. Phyllis Neves here at Dakor. It was an honourable day for each one of us. We welcomed her in the Indian traditional style by performing the aarti and offering her a garland. On 15th February 2020, AMAR Media Centre hosted the Auxilium Film Fiesta 2020 at Mazzarello Youth Centre, Wadala. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. ‘Konkani Day’ was celebrated with much joy and enthusiasm on the 20th of February, as the 21st is kept up the Matrabasha Diwas. The notice board highlighted many important aspects of our Konkani language. Marathi Cultural Day was celebrated on February 27, 2020, with morning assemblies and all prayers during these days in the Marathi language. The day was celebrated as Marathi Bhasha Diwas, in honour of the Marathi poet Vishnu Waman Shirwadkar also known as Kusumagraz. We at Auxilium celebrated our Value Education week beginning from 17 February 2020. It concluded with the Catechetical day on 28 February 2020. All the programmes comprising of skits, a mime act, dances, songs and the like revolved around the theme of ‘Holiness’. There was much to learn from the young Auxilians as they skillfully exhibited the values of forgiveness, kindness, generosity, respect, obedience, punctuality, meekness, humility and love. The
