AMAR # 1573 Republic Day celebrated at Auxilium Wadala

Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala had celebrated physical and virtual 73rd year Republic Day on 26th January, 2022. “Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes” – Mahatma Gandhi.

The programme began at 8.15am with a meaningful prayer service. The highlights of the celebration were the speeches given by the students’in English, Marathi and Hindi. The dances were performed by pre-primary section, patriotic song and mono acting- on social reformers by primary section and the hilarious motivational video on “Haste Raho Tandrust  Raho” by the secondary section. A skit was performed by the skill builders and made the programme very interesting. COVID -19 precautions were specifically highlighted in the programme.

The physical celebration started at 8.15am by welcoming the chief guest, Rev. Sr. Rosaline Pereira and other dignitaries. Our Manager. Rev. Sr. Magdalene Sequeira, Principal, Rev. Sr. Gloria Ferrao, Primary Headmistress Rev. Sr. Reshma Rosario and our Secondary Supervisor. Tr Babita Chib.  Tr. Suchita Dhawade welcomed the chief guest. The programme began with the unfurling of our national flag by the chief guest. Sr. Rosaline Pereira gave a meaningful message to the students present to empower the girl child. The students of Std. V A were facilitated for their great achievements in Abacus at the international level. Champion trophies were awarded to Shreya  Takki for solving 100 sums in 8 mins and Khushi Gordi received the trophy for merits.

The significant event of the Republic Day came to an end with the utmost competencies in the hearts of everybody.
