Auxilium Baroda recently hosted the Ms. Auxilium Contest, a two-day event for outgoing grade 12 students, with the English medium competition held on the 15th and the Gujarati medium on the 16th. The criteria for judging included confidence, presentation skills, responses to questions, personality, and attire, as students competed passionately to showcase their best. The event commenced with a prayer seeking divine blessings, followed by captivating performances by Std 11 students, including dances, songs, and skits, expressing gratitude and bidding farewell to their seniors. With 114 contestants from the English medium and 43 from the Gujarati medium, the judges faced a daunting task.

The contestants fielded questions such as reminiscing about fond memories from their school days, their emotions about graduating and embarking on the next phase of life, their inspirations during high school, proudest academic achievements, changes in perspective since starting high school, memorable senior year experiences, and what they’ll miss most about their school and classmates. Those who delivered exceptional responses and presentations were crowned Ms. Auxilium, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up, Ms. Personality, and Best Attire. Ms. Dhanshree Dhomse from English medium bagged Ms. Auxilium crown and Ms. Sutariya Shreya from Gujarati medium.

The winners were awarded with trophies, bouquets, and sashes, marking the conclusion of a thrilling and memorable experience for all participants. The day concluded with joyous celebrations, marking the end of a significant chapter in the students’ lives.

Finally, the crowned Ms Auxiliums addressed the gathered crowd of students, imparting a message of wisdom and encouragement. They urged their peers to savour every moment of life’s journey and to embrace the lessons that come from failure. Their words resonated deeply with the audience, serving as a reminder of the importance of resilience and growth in the face of challenges.
